How We Measure

Every dimension on SureFit comes from one of two authoritative sources — the U.S. EPA/DOE ENERGY STAR certified-product database and manufacturers’ own specification sheets — matched to the exact model number. We never estimate, crowd-source, or scrape numbers from retail listings; when a measurement isn’t confirmed, we mark it pending rather than guess.

Where our numbers come from

Every dimension we publish is drawn from two authoritative sources: the U.S. EPA/DOE ENERGY STAR certified-product database, and manufacturers’ own published spec sheets. We don’t estimate, crowd-source, or scrape numbers from retail listings.

What we verify

Height, width, depth and capacity are matched to the exact model number. When a measurement — such as rear depth excluding handles — isn’t yet confirmed, we mark it pending rather than guess.

Why it matters

An appliance an inch too deep means a return, a restocking fee, and weeks of hassle. Accurate, sourced numbers are the entire point of SureFit.
