Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher Dimensions & Cabinet Cutout

Good news for planning: the Bosch 800 Series dishwasher uses the same standard 24-inch cabinet opening as the 100, 300 and 500 Series. The premium features don’t change the footprint — so if your cabinet is cut for any 24″ Bosch, an 800 Series drops in.

Bosch 800 Series cabinet cutout

Opening Height Width Depth
Standard cabinet cutout 33⅞–34½″ 23⅝–24″ 24″
ADA-height models ~32⅛″ 23⅝–24″ 24″

Cutout from BSH spec sheets. Height is adjustable on the leveling legs — cut the opening to 34½″ if you’re unsure, then raise the feet to meet the countertop. Width of the appliance itself is ~23⅝″; the ⅜″ gap to a 24″ opening is normal.

Fit notes for the 800 Series

  • 24″ is the footprint. The opening is a standard 24″ dishwasher cutout — 24″ wide, 24″ deep, 33⅞–34½″ tall. There is no “800 Series” special size.
  • Panel-ready vs stainless. Custom-panel 800 Series models accept a cabinet door panel; budget for the panel’s thickness so the front sits flush with adjacent cabinetry.
  • The raised-floor trap. If your kitchen floor was tiled after the cabinets went in, the actual opening height can be less than 33⅞″. Measure the real gap, not the cabinet spec.
  • Water & power. Leave the rear corner clear for the inlet, drain and outlet — Bosch routes them in a recessed channel so the 24″ depth still works.

Bosch 800 Series dishwasher — common questions

What size opening does a Bosch 800 Series dishwasher need?
A standard 24-inch dishwasher cutout: 23⅝–24″ wide, 24″ deep, and 33⅞–34½″ tall (height adjustable on the legs). ADA-height models are about 32⅛″ tall.
Is the 800 Series a different size than the 300 or 500 Series?
No. All standard Bosch built-in dishwashers share the same 24″ cabinet opening — the series differ in features, sound rating and racks, not footprint.
How wide is the dishwasher itself?
About 23⅝″. The opening is cut to 24″, leaving a small gap that’s normal and lets the door clear adjacent cabinets.
