LG WashTower Dimensions: Full-Size & Compact

The LG WashTower isn’t a stacked washer-and-dryer pair — it’s a single factory-built unit with one control panel in the middle, so there’s no stacking kit and no risk of the dryer walking off the washer. That also means you measure it as one tall appliance. Here are the verified dimensions from LG’s spec sheets.

Will the WashTower fit?

  • Height (74⅜″ full-size). It clears a standard 8-ft ceiling easily, but it will not fit under a typical 34–36″ laundry-room countertop or in an upper-cabinet-topped closet. Measure floor-to-obstruction before buying.
  • Width (27″). The cabinet is 27″ wide; LG calls for roughly 1″ total side clearance, so plan a 28″ opening. The compact WKHC152 is 24″ wide.
  • Depth. Door-closed depth is 30⅜″ (32⅝–32¾″ on the deep-tub 300/252 models). The door-open figure (55–57½″) is what decides whether a closet door can shut or a hallway stays passable.
  • No stacking kit. Because it ships as one unit, you don’t buy or install a stacking bracket — but you also can’t separate the washer and dryer into a side-by-side later.

LG WashTower — common questions

How tall is the LG WashTower?
74⅜″ for the full-size 27″ models and 65¼″ for the compact 24″ WKHC152. That is the complete single-unit height — not a separate washer plus dryer.
How wide is it, and how much clearance does it need?
27″ wide (24″ for the compact). LG specifies about 1″ of total side clearance, so a 28″ rough opening is the safe target.
How deep is the LG WashTower?
30⅜″ with the door closed on most full-size models, up to 32¾″ on the deep-tub 300/252 units. With the door open it reaches 55–57½″ — check that against your closet door or walkway.
Does the WashTower need a stacking kit?
No. It is a single factory-assembled unit, so there is no stacking bracket to buy or install.
